Snakelet is a game in which you must guide your snake around an area picking up food (apples and cookies at the moment) to gain points and increase your length. The longer you are the more points you get for eating food. If you run into your own body or a wall the game is over.

• Use Z, X, K, M or Q,A,O,P or the arrow keys to guide the snake around. 

• Grow longer by picking up apples and cookies.

• Watch out for walls, yourself and skull and crossbones.

• Pick up the 'I' invincibility symbol to get 15 seconds invincibility. When invincible you can travel through walls and your own body. You can also eat skull and crossbones whilst invincible.

• Pick up the 'S' shorten symbol to lose your body. This means sacrificing the points advantage for being longer, but picking up the 'S' earns a lot of points in one go.

• Press SPACE to pause, press SPACE again to unpause.

• In order to make sure your key presses are registered by the applet, click on it with your mouse before attempting to start the game.
